The charter operates out of Ballantyne’s Cove Wharf, aboard the custom-built 45’ fishing boat named “Game Changer”. The charter offers a Nova Scotia bluefin tuna big-game fishing experience that is scheduled to begin on September 1st.
The Atlantic Bluefin Tuna, known for their size and strength, average at a massive size of 6.5 feet and 550 pounds. These exceptional fish swim from the Gulf of Mexico every year and move through the Northumberland Strait each fall. The Northumberland Strait is known for producing some of the largest Bluefin Tuna ever caught and recorded, with the largest weighing 1496 pounds. Fishing enthusiasts will have the opportunity to catch these magnificent creatures while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Nova Scotia.
